When these were delivered I was concerned they may not be large enough for a 10rd .45 magazine. Well I was wrong! They fit!! It was tight but that's what you want!! Very secure. Great attachment points as well! If you need extra magazine storage I say go for it! You'll be TactiCOOL!!!

This seems smaller than I thought it should be, but it expands to hold a surprising number of magazines. It's also shallow enough to hold compact magazines. Anything less than one and three quarters of an inch should fit, so everything from polymer glock doublestacks to steel single stack 1911s will work here, including the little kimber micro 1911s. Retention is less than optimal with some designs, and it lacks any positive retention like a strap or anything, so I took off a star.

These are pretty slick. Coloring is exact to the picture. The retention is TIGHT and that's not a complaint. A lot of open top mag puches are way too loose to be used in real world situations. These hang on for dear life, so act with a purpose and you'll have no issues getting the mag out. Well made and sturdy and pretty sleek looking.
