This money drop box allows my customers to make payments or rental deposits at any time, without having to wait in line or during business hours. Basically allowing my customers to make payments or deposits independently. It provides us a safe and tamper-evident way to collect payments. The size however is limited to small checks within 3 inches and may not fit envelopes.The box build seem durable and of quality, as such I will rate it very positive for anyone who is considering a a small money drop box.

I moved into a historic duplex downtown not realizing this was a high theft area leaving me rushing to secure the place. Nevertheless, with some packages coming via USPS the 1908 mailbox (8”w x 4”h) wasn’t going to cut it.I ordered it yesterday and it arrived this morning. The mailbox was packaged in a heavy duty box which already told me this is a quality manufactured product. The box was enclosed in clear plastic with a set of anchor screw sets: worthless, but 95% of them are so I used a set I trust (see pic).The first I noticed it’s heavy for its size. Pressing around the outside to see how sturdy instilled confidence as the structure didn’t give: this feels like a small gun safe would. Very impressive for a mailbox and it could be used for a number of other things.The surface is a black semi-gloss enamel with a tactile texture which does seem to hide fingerprints.Metal thickness varies: the upper flap is more thick than the door.Hinges are a long pin that seems to be relying on that thick metal for anti-shearing on forced entry.Lock and key function smoothly without feeling loose: normal (small) amount of play in door when latched.Installation (no instructions in box) was easy as marking, drilling, insert and screw. The anchor screw inserts were not the same quality as the box: keep the chuck the inserts and get better ones. I did not use the spacers as I felt this would make using a crowbar easier to insert.All-in-all $45 at the time of this review represents a fair value due to the speed of delivery, smooth operation, simple design, quality of the materials, construction and finish. Personal note: it would be nice if the anchor screw inserts were upgraded, a drilling template included and a set of vinyl letters at this price.

I ordered the Drop Box for work to conduct voting among employees - and it's perfect. The box is sturdy, secure and comes with two keys. It is easy to mount or also use as a stand-alone box that stays upright on a flat surface.The drop box is great for having in a controlled/secure environment as the lock is quite basic and can be breached or broken into - which is no different than similar products. However, the quality and durability of this box is very good.

Fantastic quality, very secure. We mounted this on the side of our house for my home bakery payment drop box and it works great! It comes with all the tools you need for a secure mount. The lock is very secure and comes with 2 keys. Highly recommend for both Mail Drop box or payment drop box!
