I love Monoprice cables and have had great luck with them. Their electronics on the other hand have not been as impressive. I needed a Z-Wave Plus sensor for a sliding screen door and ordered a number of models from different brands to see which would work the best in my environment. Several of them did poorly. I do have a Zooz Z-Wave 700 series switch about 15' away and would think this would be communicating with it. It and some of the other smaller-form-factor ones did not do well. I think it is simply a smaller radio inside that allows it to fit places and be unobtrusive, but at the expense of less power to transmit state changes. At any rate, this one performed poorly in my testing. It seems that other reviews out there have shown various challenges with support or performance.

I was not able to get these to be included with my homeseer. I tried 2 out of 3 and neither would link up. ! started to link after about 20 tries and then it failed during the inclusion so its just not reliable.

Tried both chat and phone support. No troubleshooting was done. One rep wasn't even familiar with Smartthings. They couldn't even tell me which direction the battery gets installed! The Smartthings Hub does not find device. Tried two and had the same issue.
