I was a mechanic for thirty five years and have installed Monroe products on numerous vehicles. In thirty five years I found who made quality struts and shocks. Well it's not Monroe for staters and they are no better now then they were twenty five years ago. Recent had Loaded front struts installed on my Ford Fusion at a local shop here in Pennsylvania. I was talked into by the technician who recommended them. Big mistake the vehicle physically sits an inch lower and you feel and hear every bump or hump in the road. The vehicle never had road noise like it has now. The car was as quiet as a Lincoln. When time permits and I have the available resources. I will be installing original equipment parts back on the vehicle. I'll be returning the junk Monroe loaded struts to the garage that installed them. Truly disappointed with the Monroe products. They were crap struts and shocks twenty five years ago and they're no better today...Original equipment or KYB if you can afford them...

Put these on my wife's get around car! Riding much better and actually seems to sit a little higher in the front! 200,000 mi on the factory equipment, so now it has a great ride and no more rattles!!!
