Replaced my original driver’s side strut because of a broken spring (I honestly didn’t know it was broken until the latest brake replacement). Following a bunch of YouTube videos, I replaced both sides and the job wasn’t that difficult, If you have the correct tools! I’d call a good size air compressor and a hefty impact wrench a prerequisite for this job!!Nice struts. Great quality from Monroe and I got them on sale. After a proper front end alignment my 120,000 mile F150 handles like new!

Not sure why some people think the struts are noisy. Clean the inner strut tower top and bottom. Knock off all the rust good to go.

I bought these to add to my truck so that I wouldn't have to worry about overloading my truck when hauling gravel and/or firewood. I've had them for a couple of years and they are still in great shape. Definitely recommend

Just installed them the weekend on my 2013 F150 FX4, took me 4 hours ,1st time doing it and rusty bolts.. Had to buy a 22mm and a 30mm impact sockets to remove the bottom bolts from the strut.. using liquid wrench and heat. and help from YouTube everything went well.. also replaced left side upper control arm, which is much easier to do with strut out of way.. I sove over $200 as the struts at Canadian tire are around $300Truck rides like new again and no tire rubbing .

Great replacement struts, only issue i had was one didnt include the nuts. I suspect it was Amazons horrible packaging, or lack of, that allowed them to escape the box. Amazon attempted to make right by sending a replacement. To bad they sent a replacement for a earlier model f150 and it was also missing the nuts. Be ready to either reuse your old hardware or head to your local ace for what is supposed to be included. Other than that they have great ride quality and handling.

Ordered these to replace the stock shocks on my 2013 F150 FX4 and love them. Nothing was mechanically wrong with my stock shocks but after almost ten years of use they had started to show alot of give and sway on bounces and bumps. Nothing terrible but once I pulled the trigger on the monroes and swapped them out I was blown away how much better the truck rides again. Full disclosure i did swap out the rear shocks as well the week prior with Bilstein 5100s which are also amazing but the Monroes in the front was a game changer. I am sure the Bilsteins in front would of provided a similiar result but this is what I went with. The install took me three hours on a lift and would of been quicker but had two bolts that caused a little frustration. Tip- spray down all the bolts a couple days in advance to save yourself some headache. All in all I am super happy with the Monroe shocks and the way my truck rides again. The front rake went up 0.5" if your worried about it. So currently my truck has a 11.5" front and 13.25" rear total rake.

1/10/20 Great price and fitment. be careful some fit suggestions are wrong! these are heavy duty compared to some suggested!! some say its for 8200 GVW mine is 7200 GVW and is the exact replacement. So go by the Picture more or call some Monroe, or a supplier and ask for the part number. look at this picture (Moog ST8568 Strut and Coil Spring Assembly) was suggested it was a exact replacement. NOPE.Will update but so far real good. Nice quiet ride with great body control. Similar to OEM I would say. Bought 2 from Amazon Warehouse for a great deal. I don't always get the correct item buying from the ware house. Sometimes someone returns there old one, takes the new parts and returns some Crap aftermarket and/or different part number than on the box or being sold. I buy a lot I would say my success rate buying from the warehouse is 90%. Pretty good odds considering at times the savings are 40 to 50 percent off a item. Just be prepared to return it if something goes wrong. Again these were perfect just missing the 3 nuts on one is all so used my old ones. Just noticed the ride height is around 1 1/2 higher with these about even with the rear unloaded. They will settle some but the rears has 100000 miles as well as the truck. Not a issue for me. Arrange a front end alignment and check your locking hubs for proper action. mine just today after the install started grinding some so has to com apart to replace. so after this get corrected going in for a shoe alignment.2/19/20 I had one strut that the boot was loose on the piston shaft and scratching i Had to return it. Easy return 2/21/20 replacement one perfect7/22/20 Great no complaints. works as intended.

Perfect fit, I had no idea how sagged my old springs were until I installed these. My truck sits 2" higher and my tires no longer rub on fenders during turns. Ride is as expected.
