First Off it's plastic, not metal. Second, it has extra material that I guess is used for securing but it makes the fit nearly impossible. Third, the stud is too long and gets in the way of installation.

Was kinda bummed its made from some type of plastic. The swivel stud and hardware are metal, but the body itself is plastic. It fits flush on my rail and seems sturdy, only time will tell.

The nuts on this mount make it a little more difficult to get into the keyhole slots but also make it more secure. I've had excellent results with this for a sling and for a bipod. Really solid mount. Hard to beat for the price.

I used this keymod adapter to mount a Harris bipod. The bipod came with a picatinny rail mount and my rifle needs the keymod adapter.The keymod adapter seems to be well made and installation took about one minute. It then took me another minute to remove it, add some loctite to the threads and reinstall it. I like to Loctite screws because I do not like having anything come loose during use. This keymod adapter holds the bipod on securely and I expect it to be a problem free piece of equipment.

Works fine-enuff for my uses. I have a low-end, entry-leve AR15 and I'm not naturally a military-class sniper, so I don't need perfect materials. Not saying this one is imperfect. Just saying my use is not high enough to expose if there might possibly be any flaws in this item.It works great. Mounted to my key mod hand guard just perfectly.People are saying it's poly/plastic; I say so-what? I've got a $60 bipod mounted to an $800 dollar gun. I don't need titanium gold-plated materiel. This works fine for its intended usage.

I don't care about the nay-Sayers, This is my second one. My AR's are not cheap! And neither is this bipod adaptor. It's just inexpensive. I shoot a lot, and have nothing negative to say about this product. It looks & works excellent.

Purchased because it's 3x cheaper than the PWS version, but for my application on the Ruger Precision Rifle it doesn't work well. For starters it isn't contoured to fit a round rail. If you have a flat keymod rail section to attach this to I'm sure it'd be perfect. As you can see in the photos it doesn't allow the bipod to mate to the rail system meaning the two attaching pieces of hardware (PWS has 3) take all the lateral loads and it's not a solid platform. It looks like this is the length that will work for the Harris Bipod but it's too short for my TipTop bipod. Mounting it was easy, just make sure they screws are backed out as far as they'll go.
