I had decided to buy writing without tears materials and hold off on the Montessori chalkboards. I quickly realized he wasn’t getting enough practice writing with the Writing Without Tears materials. Maybe because I don’t have the teachers manual.This pairs perfectly with the writing without tears. It’s in squares just like writing without tears. My child fills one to two boards easily. So he’s getting lots of practice with each letter. We also love to play Letter Tic Tac Toe on these chalkboards.They are easy to wipe off with dry tissues.We haven’t used the other side much yet but love that the lines are on the other side.They did come damaged on the corners from shipping. I recommend more padding.

Muy buen producto, llegó en excelente estado, son 2 unidades en un lado es para escribir y en el otro es a cuadro, pensé que un lado era liso pero no es así. Sin embargo me gustaron mucho.Lo recomiendo

These are great but a bit to hard to erase. It may be the chalk I'm using.

I chose chalkboards over a personal dry erase for the tactile resistance aspect of using chalk as well as my kids tend to press too hard with dry erase markers and ruin the tip. I love that these have a large grid, perfect for children just learning to write. We haven't used the lined side much yet, though I'm sure it will have it's place.The boards are quite large. Which is nice but they are awkward to store as many of our Montessori materials are.Not too heavy to move around but the quality is definitely there. Wherever we erase his work my son exclaims "it looks like new!"

Perfect!Originally I did not realize it was 2 double sided boards... I wanted to order 4 for homeschooling. After ordering I finally read everything and was excited. 1 board for each kid at 13$ each!These are also a great size! Picture is a standard size school desk.
