Purchase grease 1/4-28 straight grease fittings from your local auto parts or hardware store prior to purchasing. Use them in lieu of the provided grease fitting.Item does not come with brass plug as shown in pictures. 90 degree grease fitting supplied does not fit under axle when installed on 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si. That fitting is a 1/4-28 tapered which is not readily available at your local hardware stored. 1/4-28 straight threaded hardware will not fit in the hole properly to close it.

So far, ball joint works as intended. This was super easy to install on Honda/Acura using the PowerBuilt Honda Ball joint adapter kit and the Astro Pneumatic Ball joint kit. Going to buy another after seeing the OEM ball joint was completely worn out.

Quality balljoint with a grease fitting which a lot of balljoints dont have these days. Looks physically beefier than the stock balljoint that came out of the vehicle.

Great ball joints. Moog is the highest quality replacement suspension components you can buy. So, they are great just like expected.

This seems to be a quality product, but it is true that the right angle grease fitting does not clear the ABS ring on the half shaft/axle of my 2002 Honda Civic Si. I have found a work around, but it it not very convenient. I used only the straight, standard grease fitting as a plug for the grease hole. This fitting alone does clear the axle. To grease the ball joint, remove the grease fitting with a 7mm wrench and then force grease into the ball joint with minor modifications to: . Add a tight fitting nut to the tip (one that won't slip past the right angle of the needle and then add a beveled rubber faucet packing washer to create a seal against the opening of the ball joint from this set or something similar. Use the axle as leverage to gently press this rig against the ball joint and then pump grease in. Return the grease fitting/zerk to the ball joint to keep the grease in and contaminants out. It's a bit of a pain, but it works!

These balljoints had grease fittings to install but on my ep3 Civic they would not fit with the fittings installed. It kept hitting the cv axle. I had to cap off the fitting hole and make due with that. One of the ball joints lost its boot when I pressed it into the knuckle as well. Not impressed by the cheap feel and that the balljoint cant fit where it was designed to go.
