Part seemed to be made of decent quality (Moog tends to be) however in part description it claims to fit 1.8t models which isn’t accurate.Part has Integral brake caliper bracket intended for 1.9L TDI cars and 2.0L Gasser cars.If you have a 1.8T car or VR6 car from factory, this part will NOT fit.

Definitely do an alignment after installing. I had a little much as far as camber... but so did the OEM knuckle on the other side. Anyway the bearing died at almost exactly 1 year.

Only regret is make sure,all the back plate studs and nuts are tight otherwise will vibrate loos and cause problems down road.

I bought this because I needed a whole new set ( wheel was making bad grinding noise ) was so excited knowing my car was finally gonna get fixed up...well this one says it FITS! my model car ( 2001 VW Golf ) but because my model of the car is maid in Brazil, this full set was too big! when trying to install & had to return it. other than that, was VERY! NICELY MAID! if your model takes this one get it! it's a very nice set...but make sure it fits even though it says on here it fits double if not triple check to make sure it's the right model & make of your car before buying. 1 more thing, even though I had to return this & find another model that's for my car make ...( which is the same ) but made with different parts... I saved $110 on the one that did fit. I would of rather of had this one if I had a chance to pick & choose because this one is very heavy & very VERY! nice when it comes to the full set! but make sure your car fits this! I recommend taking yours off before ordering anything. I didn't do that & it turnt out that it says FITS YOUR MAKE & MODEL...But really didn't.

Awesome and easy fully assembled so no need to press out your old bearing in order to fix the bearing problem I purchased both side and was done in about an hour and back on the road.

Bought this after doing ALOT of research to verify this was the correct parts. However when I went to get installed, several aspects of this did not fit. The caliper mounting bolts were too small. The rotor heat shield did not fit behind the rotor safely.Wasted a lot of time figuring this out.

If you are buying this to replace on a 2001 GTI, DO NOT BUY. Nothing on this is like what you are taking off. Trust me. Even after I tried to modify it, there is no way this will work. Holes are smaller, mounting area for the caliper is all wrong. Ended up taking the new bearing and hub out of the new knuckle and installing it in my old knuckle. make sure you know this is not a direct replacement
