little obsessed with this mold. Even ordered the snowflake version too. I plan on making two version. One will have two sides only and the other will have all four sides. I just wish i didn't have to find a heat resistant glue to attach the sides.

This is a very interesting mold--I really like the results! I ended up gluing three of the sides together, just leaving the third side open. Please remember that it's not safe to put open flame inside an epoxy resin holder! Use your final product with a battery powered light ONLY.

I have not used this mold yet and due to the timing of receipt I am probably not going to get the chance for a number of weeks or months. That said, I have thoroughly inspected it and will present my findings and observations now, updating in the future if needed. I’ve inspected all of the interior mold surfaces. They are shine and should produce glossy resin pieces. I did not notice any scrapes, scratches or scuffs that would mar the final product. The silicone is mid thickness. That is is it’s neither amongst the thinnest or thickest molds that I own. It is more translucent than many molds which I think would make this mold good if you wanted to use it with UV resin. I have limited experience with uv resin but in my practice I’ve only used it for small projects. This would be … by far … the largest piece I’d have done with uv resin if I were to try it. I plan to use this with 2 part epoxy. The design is cool and I really look forward to making this. Other info … the base will require approx 100 ml of resin (I did a water test). You get two pieces to make the pyramid sides (each piece makes 2 sides). The side pieces hold 50 ml of resin each (so you’ll need 100 ml to make all 4 sides). I should mention that you can make the sides individually if you want/need to. You don’t have to fill both sides of the molds for the walls. The base mold fit my generic battery operated tea lights so I expect the final product will too. Overall, I really like this mold and I am excited to give it a go.
