Due to money flow issues (I'm on SSID) I had to delay having this unit installed for an additional two years. I put the core (unopened & untouched) on a shelf until I had the funds raised. Unfortunately... I got a call from my ASE mechanic who told me that due to multiple leaks in the core, he wouldn't be able to use it. He called the radiator shop who quoted a higher price to repair and recertify this core than my mechanic could replace it with by just letting me have another new one at his wholesale price (he's a great fellow and felt bad for me). Further, he said he wondered if this particular core WASN'T actually an O.E.M. unit. He wondered if someone had "traded-out" a new but generic/cheapo core into an O.E.M. box and then returned it to Amazon. Regardless..... I'm out the cost of TWO cores and in the end had to be satisfied with a generic (but water tight) core. So..... judge this review as you will. 😕

Perfect fit and easy install. Install the evaporator core at the same time.

Good quality same as the one I removed hope it last 15 years. Taken the dash board out is a big job. When you replace this item also do the blend doors and a/c evap.

Perfect fit and had all the proper foam seals already in place. These are missing on most aftermarket units and affect the amount of hot air you receive from the system.
