This definitely eliminates the wind noise from road travel! I purchased a used 2007 Jeep Wrangler X in May 2007, but the wind noise was evident driving at 30 mph & above. I read that the OEM item was a warranty upgrade for this model, but I read on different Jeep forums about the resolution & high cost for dealer repair ($500+). Since I was replacing the soft top anyway, I purchase this item for installation at the same time. New hardware (screws) was also included!
