The ignition module works. Fixed my issue. I was able to program it myself using a google search and my key fob.

My 2016 Ram would unlock and the lights and radio and all would come on but it would not start, not a thing, I messed and messed with it and nothing. After a lot of research I found this and decided to give it a try since it was pretty cheap and a Mopar USA made part. Well I got it, took literally one little plug to remove and install into this from the old one and 4 screws to mount it and BAM truck is back to normal, starts right up no issues what so ever, no key programming or anything, my old keys worked perfect. 100% happy, thanks a million guy's.

WIN module is plug and play, however it was hit and miss right from the start when it would work. Would still randomly not acknowledge the key was in, and now 4-5 months later has completely quit working. So now I'm searching for another, not buying this again. 🤬

Detailed review of this product. I have a 2016 RAM 1500, V6, crew cab, 4x4. It literally took 5 min to install. I did not unhook the battery. The remote to unlock the doors worked perfectly instantly. However the remote start did not work until about a week later, so it works beautifully now. Great product! I did NOT have to visit my expensive dealer for nothing to swap out this key ignition part.

This is awesome!!! Saved me $800 My truck kept giving me the wrong fob message and wouldn’t start. Lights would come on and locks would open but wouldn’t start. I replaced this switch and it started right up. I was hesitant to buy this even after the reviews saying it didn’t need programmed because everyone I talk to says it will and cost a ton of money. This did not need programmed and worked with my old key. I am so thankful to the company for making this and saving people money. The stealership prices are ridiculous I avoid them at all cost.Update. Anybody know where this company has gone nobody has one for this price that is plug-in-play. If anybody knows please drop a link?

2014 Ram 1500 WITH remote start. Stranded at the store with my daughter in 100 degree heat. Insert key, nothing happens. No dinging, no cluster lights. Not fun. I avoid dealerships at all cost so I had it towed to my house. Did some homework and ordered this part. I was worried because I ordered this part before pulling out the existing one. The part numbers were different. But instead of cancelling the order I opted to try it anyway. I'm so glad I did. Plugged it in, inserted key and walaa. 100 bucks and a tow beats a trip to the stealership anyday.
