For a mopar part, I expected a lot better quality control. The product needs refined in my opinion. I went in with a dremel and smoothed down the harsh jagged corners and casting seams. You might look for a nice billet version of this doesn't sound like something you want to do, as I would not run it as it comes. Material seems good though. Ran it for close to 2k miles, road trips, hills, mountains, trails etc with cooling fan activated so it has handled full heat and no issues

Upon arrival, I noticed damage to the housing. The cracks are pretty visible. Definitely lacking quality control.

It was not so hard to install , just make sure you have a bucket when you take out the hoses , looks good .

Surface was not flat, seemed warped. Found this out when it would not seal and could rock back and forth on a flat surface.

I purchased this housing so I could use a mechanical coolant temp gauge for my CJ7 4.2 Liter inline 6. It worked perfectly and allowed me to bypass the tiny stock sending unit in the 4.2.
