Sitting on my parts shelf since buying them, they are NOT what my wifes 99 WJ 4.0L calls for. The ones I needed were part# RC12ECC Champion 438's. These are packaged as Mopar, But are actually NGK...and Nickel V-grooved...NOT Copper Plugs! I guess they have their uses, but not for me. One I ran the 438's, ALL ignition related issues went away. Do yourself a favor and stick with the OEM recommendations...after all- they designed and manufactured the damn engine!

These are the MOPAR OEM plugs. They provide the best performance and gas mileage for the 4.0.

Do not buy sparkplugs with the fancy titanium diamond blah blah blah tips. I have a Jeep WJ and Jeeps love the copper core that is in these spark plugs. my jeep is riding much better since I installed these.
