This is an excellent mallet. I used it to lay pavers and it did a great job getting them in place without any risk of damage. Quality is excellent.

The first thing I noticed about this dead blow hammer that was different from the cheap one I got from the discount store was the box it came in… This hammer is immaculately packaged!! As soon as this thing is delivered to your house you’ll see what I mean, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise…I’ve used this hammer on multiple occasions, and it’s performed admirably. The nitrile rubber that coats it hasn’t even begun to chip. Even with a few angry wacks from its operator… also, the handle on this thing is so much better than the rectangle with knocked off corners you get from the cheapo hammers!Ever since I first picked this hammer up I noticed how well-balanced it is, how comfortable the grip is, and how sturdy the rubber is. It even seems quieter than my other hammer! I’m seriously considering going back to this company and buying all the different weights they have! Five stars, highly recommend!!If anything changes in the future I’ll come back and edit this post.

First off, the box this hammer comes packaged in is amazing. It is silver embossed with a felt lined custom cutout. Without hesitation, the packaging is five star. But the dead blow hammer itself is almost as good. The 1.5 pound has a great feel to it. The rubbery handle grip is perfect. And the knob at the end of the handle is also the perfect size and smoothness. The hammer is 12 inches long. Most 1.5 pound dead-blows are a bit shorter. The product description says that the hammer head is made of rubber. This is a very hard non-marring rubber that seems perfectly suited for a hammer head. It seems like it will be more durable than many of the cheaper plastic heads.I love this hammer.

I have never seen such a wonderfully packaged mallet before. the box and the presentation are top-notch. it would make a great gift for the handy people in your life.I have ordered this to assemble heavy-duty metal shelves that are meant to be put together by hammering with a rubber mallet. This one did an exceptional job with minimum bounce back. Highly recommended.I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.
