When I got this I was skeptical thinking it was one of those specialty items that is only intended to do one thing, but I am very pleasantly surprised that this is not the case. This crepe maker does a whole lot more than just crepes. I have made omlets, asian omlets (thin and uses flour for more of a crepe-style egg pancake), tons of pancakes of varying sizes styles and thicknesses, and a few other things. This electric griddle is very handy, and it cleans up easily with just a quick wipe-down with a wet paper towel when still hot, followed by a dry one.The temp control needs some better paint markings as the black on chrome is tough to see. Also, there are no temperatures, only tick-marks with a L, M, and H, with 4 marks in between each. I had to get a feel for the temp ranges, so there is a small learning curve with that, and I find that the mid-point between M and H is good for most jobs (about 320 to 340 degrees F on a laser thermometer), especially pancakes. The non-stick surface is fairly non-stick but not perfect. Just be diligent with not letting your stuff over-cook, or turning the temp down for a slower browning. The handles stay very cool to the touch, and the cord nicely wraps around the center underneath the stand. The utensils included are pretty cheap quality, but it is nice that they included them and gives you an idea of what to look for if upgrading them.I did knock a star off though for the heat distribution on the griddle plate. There is a cold zone in the middle of the plate and sometimes the middle cooks slow enough for the outer ring to start to burn or overcook. It can be worked around by managing the temps and also letting the griddle fully heat up prior to starting the cook. A little design change to the heating element might alleviate the issue, but for now you just have to be careful when flipping large crepes, omlets, or pancakes, as the center is a bit wetter and the spatula might poke through if not done carefully. I would suggest a very large area round spatula. but it does still get hot enough to fully cook safely, especially after flipping.Other than the uneven heating, issue, I do really like this appliance, and I highly recommend it, particularly if it goes on sale.

I sent this feedback email along with my warranty registration but then I decided to post it here as a review. We did make our first Nutella and Banana crepes on Thur, and we were very pleasantly surprised 😅 We had a couple of Krampouz Commercial Crepe Makers in the past for a planned crepe-making business. This household device of yours did not disappoint considering that it was more than 10 times cheaper than the 16' commercial Krampouz 😳🎉 Well done. The attached crepe-making tools were appreciated!

We used it to make small pankackes and realized that the heat distribution is very inequal (see photo). Pankackes were brown towards the center and uncooked at the periphery.

Love this cordless and lightweight crepe machine, makes crepe making easy, included is a wooded stick to spread the batter, and 13” is the perfect size. Makes a great present for someone who likes to cook.
