It looks an fits great on a stock cover wonderfully, but I had interference issues so I had to use a Comp 3pc, I might try to cannibalize it as I cannot stand what comes with it

I purchased the Moroso 60125 Timing indicator to replace a rusty & ugly stamped steel indicator.I found out that this must be installed before the dampner is installed. If your engine has the dampner on, you will need to take it off to gain clean access to the holes to mount the 60125.This is an additional step that wasn’t planned, but is very doable.

Ordered this for a fresh build. The lower bolt was hitting my harmonic when I was installing it. Used a cut off wheel and carefully cut the lower bolt hole down. Then cut the supplied bolt down 1/4". Plus coated the exposed aluminum with black sharpie. " no ones gonna know"

This is an excellent quality piece of hardware that should fit on a stamped cover without issue. I knew some modifications would be needed to get it to work with the aluminum cover. I had to slightly clearance the inside of the mounting area that faces the cam and shorten the lower mount so that the bolt had enough room to fit behind the balancer. These are very easy to do, just be prepared going in.

This pointer will not fit properly behind the balancer. The balancer bottoms out on the bottom bolt before being fully seated on the crankshaft. I even tried grinding material off the bottom bolt, gaining about another 1/4" of clearance, and it still wasn't enough. I was unable to use the pointer at all. For reference I have a stock-style Moroso steel front cover and a Professional Products harmonic balancer.

I read some reviews that said you had to take off balancer to get to the bolts, i was able to put it on with no issues. I did have to machine about .250" off the bottom bolt location to get the lowr bolt head to fit behing the ballancer. It fits perfect with aluminum timing cover, bolts were easy to access, nice machined part.

I like the fact that the pointer is adjustable to true TDC. I did have to shorten lower bolt slightly in order to fit behind the harmonic balancer when installing.

Using a 8" balancer and an aluminum timing cover this pointer did not properly clear the balancer and was unusable on my build, although with a factory or stamped steel timing cover it would likely fit fine, so just beware of that. I will probably use it on a different build in future. I still give 5 stars for being well made. Not product fault although maybe they could specify in description that it specifically for a stamped cover not thicker cast aluminum that will being it to within contacting balancer.

This is a well-made product. Very happy with the machining and fitment. Because I am using an aluminum timing chain cover and an 8” balancer, some modifications were required. The lower flange needed to be cut down about 1/4” in order to clear the balancer. The inner mounting corners needed to be ground down to fit the cover. I also purchased two 2” 3/8-24 bolts to have adequate depth. I cut down one of those by 1/4”. The pointer itself makes a nice upgrade. It’s very close to the balancer cover I also installed, but that’s more of a cover issue.

Nice quality, good fit. Little tight getting bottom bolt in but no problem! Installed easily in just a few minutes on 383 with stock 8 inch balancer.
