I'd been casually looking for mule mugs for a while and not finding anything that really struck my fancy. The black option in these really caught my eye. It isn't that I don't like copper, but I like that the black doesn't look like every mule mug you see. They are really pretty. We've made a few mules in them so far and my drink stayed nice and cold. That's a plus for me because I'm a slow drinker. They seem quite well made and will hold up for a long time. I like the metal straws that came with them. They're handy for stirring your drink. Very glad I chose these.

Although the Moscow Mule Drink sounds like a Russian invention, the story has it that it originated in America in the 1940s. The combination of ginger beer, lime, vodka and simple syrup was an instant hit. The only reason these mugs became known as Moscow Mule mugs is that 2 bartenders in Los Angeles had a picture taken of them drinking Moscow Mules. They happened to be drinking from hammered copper mugs, and the rest is history. The mugs have ever since been associated with the Moscow Mule.This set of 2 Moscow Mule cups are made from solid food grade stainless steel on the inside, covered with hammered pure copper on the outside. These cups retain the coldness of the ice in the cup. Whether you are drinking a Moscow Mule or simply a ginger beer, the cup is really nice—durable, with the right weight. It feels good in your hands.The design of the cup is elegant, yet vintage. It looks old. These cups are a bit bigger than traditional Moscow Mule cups served in a bar, but that is actually a good thing, for I love to poor myself a cold ginger beer in this cup. The drink stays cooler longer due to the stainless steel material used in its manufacturing. These are truly fun cups from which to drink.

Nice set of four metal mugs. I go to a restaurant that serves their drinks out of metal cups. The drinks always seem to be colder. I put some ice tea in this mug and checked the temperature. 33 degrees in the cup, 38 on the outside surface. I don't know if it really makes a difference, but the drinks seem colder and taste better. Of course with the cold outside you get more condensation. Not a problem as I drink fast. The metal straws included are a nice touch and they seem to make the drink even colder. I have used those on my skinny tumblers before and they work well. The mugs are really attractive and good quality.

These Moscow Mule cups are super nice. We were looking for a set as my wife likes to drink mules so we decided to try these and I am glad we did. They are really nice and even come with a nice matching stirrer for each cup (great added touch there).Beautiful rose color and just nice all around mule glasses. Even have some weight to them so you can tell they are made well and will last a long time.Definitely recommend.

I make a lot of mocktails and these are really cool to put them in. I am planning to make a Moscow mule for someone but I mostly got these because they were black. Like a dark Grey. They are very masculine which I love for my kitchen. They even come with metal straws so you can reuse them.
