This is a useful adjustable (apx. 65 to 75 inches) mosquito-net hanging pole, which will be used to hang a net over my reading chair out front. I am troubled by too many mosquitoes. I would be careful using this device with a small child or baby, so always be around to keep an eye out that the netting does not fall on them or that they pull on the pole when standing. Nevertheless this is a clever, useful device and with some adjustments you can use it in other spaces too as I am.Update: I forgot to say that the top bar has to be pressed hard into the next-top piece with the multiple holes. It looks like it won't fit, but it will if you press firmly.

Stand didn't stand. Fell over many times and difficult to even get the net (bought separately) to attachYour results may vary but I ordered to use this outdoors in Florida. I wanted a solution that I could drape over an outdoor chair to avoid mosquitos and noseeums. This is NOT that solutionWhen I put it together I was very impressed by the height and seemingly sturdiness. But I was wrong. The wind can easily blow this stand over. Even mild 5-8mph wind will shift, slide or knock over this stand with a net attached. I tried weighing it down with sandbag or just sitting chair leg on the base. It worked somewhat but really adds to the pain of using the itemWhen I tried to attach my net to the item, I could find no way to hold it into place. My net has a foldable hamper type wire frame that springs out. I finally found that I could compress the frame and stick UP THROUGH the inner top hole and the net would relatively stay in place. However then the net drapes in a narrow way and ends up lying against my skin or face.This could very well work for inside purposes. Especially on something like a crib with tall, strudy walls that can hold the net away from you.However for me it is almost unusable and far more work than it's worth. Mosquitos win again. And I have to find another option. I would NOT recommend
