Hello all,I've tried other versions of Buggy Band, and this one, by far, is the easiest to use and functions just as good, if not better. In past iterations of the Buggy Bands, it was a hassle to snap-lock the wristband onto your wrist. Or the duration of their usefulness lasted a few hours, and that was that having to recycle them. However, with this current model, the good folks at Buggy Bands have engineered a sustainable version that keeps on with these small cartridge replacements. Just unscrew the end caps of the wristband and insert one cartridge on either end, and you're good to go. The main package brings 5 replacement packets of twin cartridges as replacements. My submitted photos above show the entire ensemble collection in the kit, including photos of the bi-fold instructions pamphlet. The Buggy Bands have an oily substance of Lemongrass that naturally repels biting mosquitos, if not other varieties of insects. The longest duration I've had with the Buggy Band is 3 to 4 hours, tops of the extended duration in one go. To extend the usefulness of a wristband, just place it back in its resealable Zippy bag that came with your package. At the time of this current written review, the merchant is offering a 10% Discount Online Coupon for your convienance. The Buggy Band Mosquito Repellent bracelet was of interest because of its plant-based ingredients. There are 5 packets and one band, all well wrapped, and the instructions are easy to follow. However, the box they came in states Lemongrass Oil is used which I'm allergic to, but the instructions refer to it as Lemon Eucalyptus Oil. This isn't clarified on the product page, but the instructions do state People With Allergies Should Not Use This Product. Also, there is no mention of how long each packet can be used for effectiveness. When the Mosquitos begin to take over our backyard in the next few weeks, I will have a family member use these to see if they work.UPDATE: The mosquitos didn't seem to mind the band worn on the arm.

The bracelet is attractive and convenient. I like the fact that, after I remove it, the smell is soon gone. The situation is different with liquid repellent which you put on your body. After you no longer need the applied repellent, the odor is still with you usually until your next shower. The bracelet obviously is pre-impregnated with repellent. When I removed the bracelet from the package, it had a very definite repellent smell although there were no sticks inside the bracelet. That raised a question for me which was; once all the replacement sticks are used, can the bracelet be “revitalized” by using a liquid repellent and a medicine dropper to carefully place drops of the liquid inside the bracelet as needed? I don’t know the answer to the question, but I will try this technique. I expect that it will work.I was pleasantly surprised that there were 2 replacement sticks in each packet. There are 5 packets with 2 sticks each. The primary use of the bracelet for me is while working in my garage with the door open. I normally have on a pair of long pants and a short-sleeved shirt. So far, while wearing one bracelet, the bracelet seems to be effective although we have not reached the peak mosquito season yet in my area. Granted, this is not an extreme test since the garage tends to trap the repellent vapor somewhat in the immediate area and there is typically no wind to carry the vapor away. I plan to purchase at least one more bracelet since, in other environments which are more mosquito infested, I will likely use 2 bracelets at a time. I think that this is one of those cases where, if 1 is good, 2 is better.I am assigning a rating of 4 at this point simply because I have not had enough experience yet in different situations to verify that a 5 rating is justified, although I am optimistic. After more experience, if I am happy with the results, I will update this review accordingly.

4.5⭐.Our family decided to take advantage of the break in the rain and warm weather to have an outdoor dinner at sunset tonight. Turns out, the mosquitoes had exactly the same idea. The air was thick with them! Normally we would have all turned around and marched directly back indoors, but decided to give these new mosquito repellant bracelets a try. The verdict: we managed to stay outside for about 20 minutes, until we finally threw in the towel and went back inside because they kept buzzing around our heads and ears. BUT the amazing thing is I don't think a single one of us actually got bitten! They would occasionally land, especially at first, but then they would fly off right away. So it definitely didn't "clear the area", but it succeeded in the biggest test, that we didn't get bitten. And really, the nasty chemical insect repellent sprays you get don't clear the area either, so I'd say this is similar in effectiveness to a DEET mosquito repellant, but much healthier, more convenient, and more pleasant! In addition, I really like the design: first of all it's stylish for just about anyone, super easy to put on and take off, and knee size fits all. I like that it comes with a bunch of individually packaged refill packs, and that the bracelet itself comes in a resealable plastic bag so that you can put it away without having to have the smell all over the room indoors (even though it's not a bad smell, you just may not want it everywhere all the time!), and it helps to save it for the next time you use it. Well done!
