Some tips before installation:
1) In order to ensure the consistency of the shock absorber, it is best to choose the shock absorber to be replaced in pairs.
2) The bearing on the top of the shock absorber should be lubricated (grease), and the waterproof dust cover must be put in place to ensure that it is not damaged.
3) It is particularly difficult to remove the end nut of the telescopic tappet of the shock absorber (the spring must be fastened with an iron wire), and it is easier to install.
4) When installing the ball head (suspender) of the balance bar, press down with an iron rod to install it smoothly.

These were very easy to install in our 1999 Honda CR-V. These did raise the height of the car by about 1 inch, which was actually a nice result.My only complaint is that the image shows a full collar at the bottom of the front struts which was a feature I wanted. The set that I received only had a small welded nub instead of the collar. It all fit well, but we will see whether they last as long as the full collar. If it doesn't hold up I will report back.

Bought a more expensive brand, broke on first hold I hit. These are a good replacement.For the guy that cannot tell his Left from Right, they fit only one way, so look at the part you pulled, and it will be obvious which is which. Come on, man...

These went into a 2007 CRV with only 70,000 miles on it, but 2 of the struts were leaking. This car was a single owner car driven by an older lady on local streets only so I'm not sure why they were already blown. The car was driving and riding weird, where it felt like I was driving on plastic tires. To the point where it felt dangerous and was a safety issue. Like I would be on the freeway, hit a bump, and the rear of the car felt like it would slide out. That was the "feeling". I initially thought it was the tires, but upon closer inspection I thought I would change out the struts instead. When I got online, the price for 4 KYB struts alone exceeded the cost of these full units, so I bought these instead. This way I wouldn't have to use a spring compressor and add more labor and reuse old parts. Please look at the side by side pictures. These are pretty much identical to the oem units. Everything was where It was supposed to be. All the bolts and holes lined up exactly like the OEM unit. The fronts went in easy. Probably 15 minutes per side. Working slow. The rears, to no fault of this product and more with how the CRV is designed, took me a bit longer because of the shock tower, and how it's a pretty tight tunnel to get the old unit out, and the new one back in without disassembling the entire rear. I only removed 5 bolts/nuts total on each rear side. I have driven the car on a 150 mile round trip on the freeway, and also another 300 miles in my usual commuter traffic, and it's significantly noticably better than before. I think I still have to change the tires, but I'm no longer afraid of driving the car and it feels stable at high speeds and over bumps. I don't know about the longevity of the actual units, but initial tests and impression has been very positive.

These fit perfect in my 2000 CRV. They greatly improved the ride and reduced the noise. Do wish they would’ve been labeled for right and left side. I’ll buy these for the rear now. Easy install too!!!
