I ordered this laser for my cat to chase, but my chihuahuas love chasing the laser just as much. They can tell it emits light from the unit, but go right after it anyway. The small design let's you set it on the end of a table, I found a coffee table height works well to keep the laser mostly on the ground. The laser pauses sometimes, allowing your animal to stalk and pounce it. The battery life seems to be good. The laser rotates quietly while it casts the dot on the floor. After a certain amount of time, the laser takes a break and turns off automatically. I feel this toy gives you a good value for entertainment if you've got indoor pets that get bored easily.

The cats love this thing and I do too. It's a bit loud but from a room away you shouldn't hear it. Some people are more sensitive than others. I particularly like the motion sensing option, helps to save on the battery although you do need to reset it occasionally which is my only gripe. I wish I could just leave it going and going without it ever turning off. Doesn't weigh much but nice and sturdy and you can get some good angles set up for different room configurations. All in all it's well loved and getting lots of use!

I got a new toy for her, it sits up on the edge of table and a laser light goes around in circles. It does a little ways one ways and then come back and in a circle but it's very varies as it goes. She has been quiet for at least 2 hours so far, it keeps her busy and she enjoys it.

My cat is not interested in the laser point. He quickly figures out the source and moves it.It is noisy. The motion sensor does not noticeably work.

My dog loves lasers and this is now her new favorite toy. I like that it’s hard durable plastic so she can carry it around and trash it. I’d definitely buy again.
