For the price the quality is exactly what I needed to complete my can am maverick. I also use it to hold my machine tightly on the trailer. Can’t complain a bit. Some of the connecting hardware is rusty already but that’s an easy fix.

Used the winch twice and third time the spool which holds the cable broke. Tried to call and only way to get hold of them is to email. The only way to get a new spool is to buy a kit which includes many parts I don't need and it is $96. Heck, the whole winch is only $119. Would not recommend or buy again.

So far so good! It’s strong and smooth. If your ATV isn’t set up for a winch, the wiring can be tricky! It took about 4-5 hours to completely assemble and wire.

Update:I wrote in the previous review that this did not fit a 2014 Rzr 800 XC. It appears this may have been due to Viper's Rzr 800 mount as other winches are the same dimensions.To the review part after install, installation was not simple. The winch had multiple bolts and pieces missing. It seemed like it was an open box item (even though it shouldn't have been). I ended up having to scavenge around my garage for spare bolts. The bolts that did come with it, did not fit the solenoid mounting brackets and the bolts that would, were too small. The power cables (red and black) from the battery to solenoid were too short, and the blue and yellow cables (Solenoid to winch) were way to long. I had to reverse the colors, this is a small issue but it will be confusing to remember down the road if any electrical work is needed. The handle bar switch doesn't mount to the rzr (nor was I given hardware for it) and the terminal cables are about 10 ft too long.The winch itself works but has yet to be tested in the field. It seems sturdy but due to the entire mess of the installation process, below ikea grade instructions, and missing parts, this product receives a low rating regardless of it's functionality. The only reason I installed it was because at the time of the review, I needed the winch for use for a near future trip.
