The 20 year old Toyota 1MZFE needs a little oil every week now so the oil cap gets used a lot. It feels as good the original cap supplied by Toyota. The plastic on the old cap had become brittle from 2 decades of engine heat and cracked when I dropped it.

Last oil change from the dealership and think guy left it off when he started the engine. This one was a perfect replacement. Now if I can ensure the same guy never changes my oil again I am in business.

Originally, my car was spewing oil onto the engine because someone had installed the incorrect oil cap.My engine now has no new oil spewing on it.Conclusion: Buy this oil cap. It does it's job and fits snuggly into place.
