The last one I purchased lasted about two years and fell apart. It was supposedly original equipment.

The inner part got stuck in the coolant reservoir expansion tank when I tried to open it after 1 week. At least I’m within return period. I’ll try returning itI wasnt happy about the oem splitting in half after a couple of years. This is even worse. The only good thing about it is that when it splits in half, the part that remains on the expansion tank is sier than oem to remove.

Seems to be working fine. No leaks. Better than OEM

Fits and works perfectly on my 2009 Saab 9-3 Aero v6 2.8T XWD. MUCH higher quality than the OEM that came with the car.

Update August 26th, 2018---after 12,000miles the plastic holding the pressure seal and spring broke apart allowing the spring, inner seal cap, and plastic remains falling inside the expansion tank (pain in the butt to fish out). I hope no smaller plastic remains ended up flowing through the system lodging somewhere critical.Instead of one star I now feel it deserves, I am giving two stars, as it would satisfy an immediate need, and it is a good fit for my 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero (2.8 V6 Turbo), but would not recommend long term. This one lasted 12,000miles (in Florida heat)Initial review (will update later if needed). Build and quality seems an improvement over original part. Generally I replace with genuine parts, but I was disappointed with original part's design, AND, I read very positive reviews on this, therefore opted to purchase this instead. After having both caps side to side, without a doubt, based on visual inspection I would pick this (MotoRad T-62) over original. Can't comment on durability as I just installed (I will update if needed). This went into my 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero SportCombi (2.8 liter 6-cylinder Turbo).I hope this helps!

You can tell the quality is way better than OE. This has done well over 3 months now. Hopefully last cap for my old car that I need to buy...
