This product works just like the original part. The reason why I need to replace it due to leaking coolant on that sensor, and this stopped the leak. I'm happy no more drips on my garage floor.

OEM part regulates engine temperature the by measuring what is given off by the thermostat and/or the coolant. The reading is then sent to the computer to regulate the fuel injection and ignition timing and thus vehicle performance. This part is extremely easy to install just use care when removing the clip that secures it in the thermostat housing. Perhaps a 5 minute job tops, but huge benefits if you need a new one. Best.
