This was the correct part that I needed with a good price. The parts box it arrived in was not in the greatest of shape.

I installed this and it cleared the code for the EGR and within 50 miles of use three additional codes surfaced that all led to dead-ends. In the end, the issue was traced back to this new OEM part that was no good. Ended up costing me an additional $400 out of pocket for a shop to diagnose and correct something that never should have happened. An internal short in the electronic part of the EGR valve was causing the fuel tank pressure sensor voltage to be out of spec.

Box was smashed. Missing 1 of the 2 bolts. Metal gasket is bent. Installed part. My car is throwing a bunch of codes.

I received a low quality aftermarket part (Standard) despite it's advertised as an original Ford part (Motorcraft).

The part arrived on time and in perfect condition. Replacing the part was difficult due to it's location on the motor. The nut on the inlet pipe for the valve was frozen and required several soakings of PB Blaster to free up. The new valve installed easily, and cleared the P0401 PCM code. If you're a good backyard mechanic, replacement is doable with a little time and effort.
