I had original plugs and wires in a 2001 Taurus with 235k miles, starting to miss. These and new plugs cleaned it right up.

Perfect fit. The negative reviews I read are obviously from buyers that ordered the wrong application. You can't go wrong with genuine Ford/Motorcraft parts!

As mentioned by another reviewer, this set IS NOT for the Vulcan 3.0L OHV engine. It is for the DOHV engine. I had used the 'MY GARAGE' feature within the site and it stated this set would 'fit' my vehicle ('02 Ford Taurus) and, unlike most items I purchase, I did not check the reviews otherwise I wouldn't have purchased. Yes, Amazon needs to fix this though if they are not notified they won't. I couldn't find the number for customer service via on-line but using the Amazon App on my phone, I was able to call customer service (built into the App) to inform them of this error and asked if I could return the set, even though I was passed the allowed return date. Was not a problem, though was docked $4 for various reasons - still better to save $33 than be out $37. So word to the wise, use the Ford Motorcraft site to double check various parts & part numbers before you buy on Amazon - and if your return falls out from the 'allowed return date' just call customer service and they'll work with you.

Seem to be working well so far. Had them on about a month. The wires are not numbered so I matched to my old wires by length.

I always buy my spark plugs here and never had a problem with them. They are the same ones you get from the dealer or any parts store but a cheaper price.

ford says WR-6079 is the correct part # for my 2003 ford Taurus 3.0l 12v engine. these plug wires are obviously for the 3.0l 24v engine
