This part failed us less than 5 months of having it installed and my husbands brakes went completely out while driving, causing a minor wreck.

The only reason I am giving this a 4 Star rating is because it did not come with a Bench Bleeding kit and I had to buy a universal one. The other thing is the add says Motorcraft but the stamp on the unit is Bosch. Not sure if that is what Ford uses on all their vehicles but the one I removed from the truck did have a Motorcraft Stamp and that is what I thought I was purchasing, an OEM Motorcraft unit. Other than the above, the unit was very easy to bench bleed and to install. So far it has worked perfectly. the real TEST was the following weekend when I towed my boat and all worked well. So far so good.

If you have 2004 f150 new body style this is the right BMC for your truck at the good price. I have it for few weeks installed and it's work great. Shipping was faster than expected and well packed. Thanks amazon for your business.

Replaced the Master Cylinder on my 2005 F-150 SCrew 4x2 due to a grinding noise while depressing the pedal (not while moving, not rotor/pad related). The part was a simple swap, just make sure you follow directions on bleeding the master cylinder first, and then the 4 wheels if you want the best bleed. Problem solved and hopefully good for many more miles to come.
