I was surprised at how easy this installation actually was, it looks great (no more worn paint at the edges), and all my buttons work again! Bonus, the buttons actually light up when the panel lights are on; mine never did this from the time I bought it, so I didn't know they should.

The wiring harness for the switches is a little different than my factory switches as far as wire length, but it was more wire than OEM, and came with the correct plugs. The switches worked flawlessly and corrected my cruise control problem.

Went on to YouTube to see how to do the change-out. Search for airbag removal/replacement on your model to find directions. This comes with the wires and connectors. Just pull the old one out, and put the new one in. Remember that there is an airbag that has to be moved. No big deal, but unhook the battery for at least 30 minutes before starting and be gentle.

The install was fairly straightforward after watching a youtube video, and the part was an exact replacement of the old buttons on my 2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer. Still fully functional after 6 months of use.

These switches were an easy fix for non-functional steering wheel controls for a 2003 Expedition Eddie Bauer. I have been having issues with a couple switches on each side not operating after I had an extended time frame with a sunroof leak before clearing the drain tubes with a cable for bicycle controls after I cut one of the crimped ends off.After I cleared the clogged drain line, I ordered these switches. The replacement was fairly easy, and I have replaced a few other switches that were mostly non-functional at the same time.If this happens again in the future, I will try a fix I found on the Expedition forum where they detail how to disassemble these switches in order to clean the contacts.
