So, I had danced around the Cruise control not working for a while. It was activate, then shut off. I could set the speed but not advance it. Super frustrating. Ordered this, TWO 7mm bolts on the sides of the steering wheel to lift the horn/airbag unit out of the way. Pop old one out, disconnect, reconnect and bam. Done. Not even worth a video. SUPER simple.

Worked perfectly and was extremely easy to remove and install the new one. Saved me almost $200.00 from what the Ford dealer wanted to charge and with no experience of this kind, I changed them out in just about 20 min, all the while showing a grandchild how to do it.

The price from Amazon is literally $100.00less than the Ford dealership. No exageration. It is an original Motorcraft part. Install on a 2008, Ford F-250 is easy.Just carefully pry out the old switch assembly by sliding a small flatblade screwdriver by the cover, move it so as to depress retention tab on either end of assembly and lift out. Removethe connector, install connector to new switch assembly, snap back in.No airbag removal required.

Purchased this switch and works great! My cruise control on my 07 Explorer sport trac was acting up sometimes would not turn on at all and if it did turn on it would turn itself off. I first checked the fuse in the panel under the hood which was good. Then i replaced the cruise control shut off switch which did not solve the problem. I then ordered this switch, despite the photo this is the cruise control switch that is physically apart of the steering wheel, with the set, resume, and off switch. Worked great, install was very easy. Thanks
