This coolant diverter works perfectly in my 2004 Lincoln LS 3.9L. Ford can go to hell for the "J" pipe that leads to this contraption. I had to get creative with replacing that hose.

This fits Lincoln LS or Jaguar S-type that utilise a 3 port heater control valve (2003MY onwards). Manufactured by Bosch, it fitted perfectly in my 2003 Jaguar S-type. Note that a failed control valve (usually showing signs of long term coolant seepage) often will vaporise a section of PCB track in the Climate Control panel. So if it doesn't fix your excessive heat problem (the valves usually fail open), this will be the most likely cause.A new control valve will draw between 0.6 and 0.9 amps per side (it is dual valve), a failed valve can draw upto to 10 times this, damaging the control unit. the copper tracks act as a sacrificial fuse protecting the control unit. This can be repaired relatively easily if you are careful disassembling and electronically inclined, but ensure you add a 1 amp slow blow fuse or 2A standard fuse as part of the repair for each of the two tracks - otherwise the next repair won't be so simple ....A 2 Amp rated self-resetting "LittleFuse" ( a poly-switch fuse) which only cost a few dollars from an electronics supply company would be the ultimate repair for each vaporised track. These "poly-switches" go open circuit on overload, but return to normal low resistance once the fault is removed.

Pricing was about 60% of what my local parts store requested; for get comparison shopping at the dealership. The trick, though, is twofold - knowing exactly what you want and finding a local mechanic that will perform the labor if you supply the parts. This part was rec'd from seller ahead of anticipated delivery date in an unopened carton w/proper labeling, in other words, no counterfeit! Very, very pleased w/this transaction.

These units are susceptible to shorts and will upset your entire heating and cooling system. In 2004, Ford owned Jaguar, so the same DCCV for a Lincoln LS of that year will fit a Jaguar S-type. There is no repairing them. Only replacing them will get you going. Keep in mind that some faulted DCCVs can also cause a subsequent fault in the Climate Control Module (CCM) which will require separate attention and repair so if you replace your DCCV and you still have hot air blowing out of one side of your heating system, you also have a damaged CCM. Check out the web for repairing these.

If your air conditioner is blowing hot air, this will fix it! A mechanic shop here tried to tell me I needed an entire new a/c kit, don't buy their bs! You'll save about $1200. If you can here the compressor click on, you don't need to replace it. I did my research and came to this conclusion. All it is is a valve that's stuck & it's not shutting off the hot water.

Work perfectly on my 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo. My AC started blowing hot air even when it was cool outside. First it was just hot on one side then both sides. I read on the forums that the Gallardo uses this same valve so I bought it here and took it to an indie shop to have it installed. Sure enough, it worked like a charm! My AC is blowing nice and cold once again.

Amazon offers an excellent price for this frequently faulty part on the Lincoln LS. I have a great mechanic who will let me buy parts and he installs them. Saves a lot of money over dealer prices and labor rates. I had him replace the coolant at the same time (Motorcraft gold coolant only). There is a specific (lengthy) procedure for bleeding the air from the engine cooling system when coolant is replaced. Search online and make sure you do it right and your dual climate control system will be working again.
