This is probably not the best fork seal driver but it got the job done. If you are only using this once in a while it is fine. If you plan on changing a lot of fork seals then go with something a little better. You get what you pay for and this was very inexpensive.

Got the job done. Didn’t really need the metal half circles, just the 3 black pieces needed to drive the seal in and I just rammed it with the other end of the fork since no matter how hard I tried to drive it with the half circles the seal didn’t budge.

This is a solid metal piece of crap. Totally useless. Do not waste your time buying this.

This is a heavy steel driver tool that has the weight needed to drive in the fork seals without problems. The outer part, the two "hammer" halves, are made of slid baby steel, and should last nearly forever. The inner parts, the ones that actually contact the new seals are not quite as robust unfortunately. They do work, but the parts just do not sit in the tool as well as some I have used. Indeed you get it all in place though, the tool is easy to use, and has the weight needed to drive the slash in with a few strokes of the tool. While this isn't the most user friendly fork seal driver I've ever used it does the job perfectly well, and the price is very good. I can recommend this tool.

I'm a cheapskate when it comes to tools. For instance, once I had my basic set of wrenches and sockets, I was a stickler for specialized tools, and used a cut and split sharpie top as a fuel line separator tool for years, until I was gifted a multi sized remover.I was no different when I got into motorcycle maintenance and have used a couple PVC pipes/couplers as fork seal drivers, to some success. I finally upgraded to the actual tool, and I'm glad I did. This fits a wider range of sizes and seems to work better at driving the seals. It feels well built and transfers force better than the pipes did.Overall I think this definitely fits criteria for the right tool for the right job category and I'm quite pleased.
