These are light duty straps, and are good for that purpose. The adjustable bucket is a nice feature.

the hooks are cheap, unreinforced plastic that can be easily bent by hand and can't be trusted to hold a heavy load. I wanted to use them to strap a firewood bundle down but I don't think they can actually handle that. the straps and their hardware are decent quality but they're not much use without solid hooks.
