I sold my '17 Road Glide Special to a buddy of mine who was thrilled to get it, for about 3 days after which he crashed it. Yeah. I had that bike looking amazing and luckily he was OK but the fairing was demolished and the bracket was bent too badly to "bend" back into shape. We used this bracket instead of the much more expensive Harley version and it turns out this was identical and all the holes are well-located, the welding is good, and the powdercoat is very good too. Every time we went to add a fastener for the mounting, the hole in the bracket was perfectly aligned, and there is quite a bit in this fairing because of a Stage2 Stereo Unit and some other stuff crammed in there but this bracket is strong and supported it all. End result was a well-aligned fairing that fit everything just as it should have, and after riding it myself I can attest it came out very well. This is a well-made bracket and a great value.
