Bolts wouldn't tighten. Had to drill tap and use bigger Bolts.

ordered mirrors said to fit Triumph but they did not; needed these clamps to make mirrors work; got 'em on pretty tight and they did not crack; fit the 1" bars and accepted the 10mm threads on the mirrors. time will tell if they survive highway speeds and vibration but so far, so good.

Cheapness comes with its price... and a long boat trip from China. I bought 2 sets of these, and waited a month before seeing them. Upon installation, 1 set failed completely. If you know the "feel" of soft metal moving, and giving way while being tightened, you'll know what happened to the clamps in the photo. The 1st clamp failed as the casting yielded around the bar, and then snapped just when I knew I should have stopped. But since the clamp could still move around the bar, it needed that last little torque that put it beyond its limits. The 2nd clamp failed when the cheap bolt broke! Again, I could "feel" the bolt stretching, but the clamp was still movable. The last torque adjustment sealed the deal for breaking the bolt.IF you buy these clamps, I would recommend drilling through the threads, getting longer, quality hardware, and through-bolting them in place. Just beware of the softness of the clamp material...
