The first time I tried hand guards, they were a thin plastic. They would not stay rigid and would flex in the wind of highway trips. Eventually this led to the connection becoming loose and always requiring me to re-tighten them after tripsThese being metal they hold up very nicely, even when I am going *cough* the speed limit down the interstate. The connections stay tight and the handguards in place for the entirety of my longer trips and after about a month I have not had to tighten or adjust them at all.I have rather large hands, and would prefer the connections to be just a TAD longer so I would have more room for my fingers. This would be even more of a necessity during the colder winter months when I have the thicker heated gloves on.

These work great. They installed easily and are sturdy and don't budge once installed. They work great on the highway and block wind and rocks from hitting my hands. They have a nice finish to them and look good with my bike. Overall they are a great choice for your bike.

These are heftier than I though they would be, simple install, and work great to block wind and debris.

These hand guards do keep the wind off and they are not restrictive when you need to move your hands to operate controls etc. Fitting is easy.

Bought these by mistake and returned them. But, they are a metal hand guard not plastic. Remember to check for the hydraulic clutch difference before purchasing.

The large metal surface of these handguards effectively blocks wind, making my rides more comfortable and enjoyable.
