Cheap plastic housing and lens, dangerously dim light, don't cheap out on a headlight for your project. You'll buy a different headlight soon anyway.

Terrible finish, dimples in the chrome (on 2 I received). Crude mold lines, cheap overall. You get what you pay for. Look elsewhere for quality.

The following applies to fitmet for a 2002 Honda CB900F 919:Exact size, dimensions, materials, and quality as the OEM headlight I was replacing. I only needed the front light/glass part, so I kept the old bucket compartment that contains the wiring. The only problem was the two brackets where the screws attach did not align with the OEM headlight bucket. I had to run ziplines through the two holes instead of using the screws it came with. Otherwise, it's an excellent replacement part!

According to the description, the headlight housing is made of metal, but it is just cheap plastic.

This item is a total rip-off. The only glass is the bulb. The reflector is plastic,and melts after a short time. The plastic lens melts also.This shouldn't even be sold. It is dangerous,as you CAN'T SEE AT NIGHT!! The beam is dispersed. Amazon should be sued for fraud for selling this garbage, someone could get killed using this product. Negative stars aren't possible,but that's what it deserves.
