I bought this with the intention of replacing the clutch/brake levers on an old KDX from the early 80's. The stock levers had a lot of play with their adjustments due to slop in the system and I hoped a fresh set would be built with higher tolerances. Appearance of these is very nice but unfortunately, I would not consider them precise. They are almost impossibly light weight, which gives me some concern about durability (as they don't "feel" very robust) but they may hold up well enough if you're not very hard on them. Ultimately, I just continued to use my stock levers since the barrel adjusters and pivot point had just as much slop as my 40+ year old ones. A fair price for what they are but just not what I was looking for.

Nice, heavy duty brake lever for my beach cruiser bicycle. I rounded out a hex cap bolt that held on the old short front brake lever. When I saw this I thought I would try it. I'm glad I did - it fit perfectly and the larger lever allows for stronger braking action when needed. It looks way beefier than the stock bicycle unit. Of course this has a wide application for use.
