This isn’t deep enough to hold my iPhone 13 mini with the defender otter case I have on my phone. I tried taking off some of the padding and it’s not removable. Worthless to me.

I ordered this device to mount on my bicycle because it stated it had a Vibration Dampener, and was anti-shake. It does that fairly well, and holds the phone securely. You insert a phone by pulling up on the top yellow claw, which is spring loaded, to clamp the phone in place. You can insert and remove the phone by pulling up on the top yellow claw. (there are other "claws" below that the phone slips into). The Gyatsoi phone holder has lots of adjustments, then you tighten everything down with a special plastic knob, that you must keep track of, to make future adjustments. There are parts on this device, in red, behind the yellow claw, that appear as if it should have a bolt and nut through, and something else attached to it? There is nothing in the instructions about this purpose, and no hardware for it?

Alright normally I would not do such a big review for a phone holder, but this one is special and the other "review" failed to mention so much.Lets get into the positives and there are manyFirst, this phone holder has a go-pro mount, this was the thing the 4 star reviewer couldn't understand and this is fantastic. I always ride with my Insta360 and needed to have a separate handlebar mount for it, now I do not. As you can see with a go-pro mount on the holder my Insta360 can sit securely on this holder leaving me more space on my handlebar for something else.Second, the way this attaches is ideal, now it’s not as easy as a claw style clamp but it’s much more secure and because it’s U shaped it’s not that hard to get on. This is ideal for me because my Pixel 9 Fold Pro is heavy and with the Insta360 also attached it gets even heavier. This U bolt mount once tight does not move at all which means everything is secure.Third, the adjustability on this is great, you set the length of the arms for your device so it’s a perfect fit, it doesn't have those weak spring arms meant to be universal, this is universal but you can set the length to exactly your phone size so it’s far more secure.Fourth, this is the first phone holder where I feel comfortable putting my Pixel 9 Fold Pro into. I removed two of the rubber backstops and my Pixel 9 Fold fits perfectly and doesn't move at all. All the other phone holders I have reviewed and tried barely held my expensive folding phone in. Zero issues with this mount in that regard.Fifth, the anti-vibration function works well, it’s much easier to read Google Maps when riding as the screen isn't bouncing as much.Sixth, going back to the adjustability, this has the dual ball arm that I love, you have so much flexibility in how you orient the mount and you can attach it in ways that normally would not work well and still be able to get it where you want. Also, and again I’m not sure what the other reviewer was talking about but that "special tool" he was talking about to adjust it makes things easy and they seemed to not mention it has a hole where you can attach it to the mount so you don't have to keep track of it, you can also just leave it on the adjuster. If you press in on it, it locks it in place, so yeah not sure the other reviewer even used this because the photo they show on a bike looks way different than the other photos they took so probably fake but whatever.Summary: This phone holder fixes every issue I’ve had with others. It handles a heavy phone and camera setup without budging. The adjustable arms are rock solid, the U bolt clamp is secure, and the built-in GoPro mount saves space. The anti-vibration works and the included tool cleverly locks into place so you never lose it. It’s smart, strong, and built right.

I’ve been looking for a sturdy mount that can safely hold my iPhone 13 Pro Max while riding, without needing to remove it from its case first. I also want to be able to rotate the phone to either portrait or landscape orientation, and not have the rear camera blocked by the case. I’d also like a mount that doesn’t rely on a heavy spring to hold the phone in place, as in the past those have either gripped so tight that I fear the phone will be damaged or wear out / break over time making them useless. This product currently has an incredibly sparse Product Description, but from the photos it looked like this mount might meet all my requirements. The bike mount comes with everything you need to get the mount attached and adjusted (see Photo 1) including 1) the phone holder itself, 2) a bag containing the handlebar clamp parts / tool, and an Allen wrench for adjusting the holder arms, 3) a bag containing the connecting arm and tightening tool, and 4) a double-sided parts and assembly instruction sheet. Assembly was quick and simple (although using my own wrench instead of the included single-use one, that was slightly too large for the included nylock nuts, would have made the job even quicker). My handle bars have very little free uncurved space on them, so the fact that the mount only requires about 0.75” for it’s attachment footprint - and the arm keeps the holder itself above my gear shift and bell - is a huge plus!My iPhone 13 Pro Max + case (the inner case from a 2-part Dreem folio case) fit snugly into the holder. I chose to adjust the holder “arms” so that the the phone sat as far as possible on the “blue” side instead of centered, partly so that the yellow spring-clamp wouldn’t be resting over the power button and partly to increase the chances that the camera lenses wouldn’t be blocked by the case (see Photo 2). Even so, the 1x lens is slightly blocked (see Photo 3) and 0.5x lens is almost 1/4 blocked (see Photo 4); not really the case’s “fault” per se, since it never claimed it wouldn’t block the cameras.Once the arm was adjusted and tightened, the entire assembly was very sturdy. A good shake of the bike didn’t reveal any problems so I took it for a ride and everything remained rock solid and stable. I love the amount of configuration flexibility the double-ball-joint arm provides. In addition to being able to rotate the phone from portrait (Photo 4) to landscape (Photo 5) and everything in between, you also have a certain amount of control over how high above the handle bars the holder sits. I originally thought I’d want the holder as high as the arm allows (Photo 6), but after riding for awhile I realized that adjusting it lower and forward was better (Photo 7), so that I could see my bell and shifters better.Did this phone holder “check all my boxes”? No, but no claims were made about camera clearance and the spring in the yellow clip feels “strong enough” without being damaging. Time will tell whether the spring lasts - as well as how the plastic holds up to sun and weather - but for now this mount has earned itself 5 stars in my book for its adjustability and stability! (I’ll need to be careful to not lose the arm tightening tool, though - that looks like a completely proprietary item that would be impossible to replace.)
