The chrome looks great, had to drill out the holes a bit bigger but not a big deal.

Good chrome quality, pretty good fit considering it was design for earlier model than mine (before 2015), But holes for bolts were too small. I had to enlarge them.

The package came in wrapped in wrapping paper inside of bubble wrap nothing surprising there but when looking at the product I could see all the welds were bad... like bad bad. One of the rope tie-down points was bent and the chrome was flaking off. When I went to compare it to the holes on the backrest, it was indeed too small. but worse was the fact that it was two wide to fit between the mounting brackets and backrest. To note I have the Bulovard touring backrest and brackets, Which to my knowledge are the same size as the regular oem backrest.

I ordered this for my 2008 Suzuki C50. I should.have read the other reviews, because when I recieved it and tried to install it i discovered that the mounting holes were too small, so advertising this as "no tools needed for installation" is absurd. I didn't have a 7/16 hss drill bit, so I had to take it to a metal shop and paid $20 to have the holes drilled. The metal they made this out of is pretty poor quality (you get what you pay for), but it actually looks really good, and it is strong enough for what it will hold (maybe a small carry-on size luggage bag for over night trips)If you have a 7/16 hss drill bit, or don't mind spending $20 bucks to have someone drill the 4 mounting holes out for ya, then I'd suggest buying it. Really, you aren't gonna find a better deal, so it's worth it, in my opinion...and it does look pretty nice once it is installed.

(2011 Suzuki Boulevard C50T)All the reviews said you would have to re-drill the holes because they were too small, so I bought it with this in mind. Sure enough, the holes were too small for the bolts on the bike. I needed a 6mm Allen key to remove the bolts (these were under a lot of torque, so you may want to use a T-handle). Once removed, I needed to drill a 7/16" hole with my Dewalt Brushless drill to *just* oversize the new hole for the bolt (if you don't have a 7/16" HSS drill bit, a 3/8" HSS drill bit will work, but you need to wiggle it around while drilling). After cleaning the burrs from drilling, put it on the bike, tightened everything up, and good to go. All said and done, about 30 minutes, including finding the tools I needed, from opening the box to taking the photos.Note: quality of finish on luggage rack is not great, welds were iffy but solid. For the price, I'm not complaining.

I knew from the other reviews that I was taking a chance and was correct. The hole size was too small for the factory bolts. I already had the tools to drill the holes out. Once that was done installation was easy. It does seem to be pretty sturdy. It will do what I need it to do. Just be warned that you will need to drill the holes it is not a direct fit item.

Easy install. Required drilling/enlarging mounting holes to accommodate factory bolt diameter on 2011 Suzuki Boulevard C50T. Looks great. Chrome finish matches existing hardware. No negative comments.

The Good: The quality seems very good especially for the money. Can't beat the price. Have no reason to believe it won't last over the long term. The bad: Not super easy to install on my 06 Suzuki C50. As others have mentioned, the holes are way too small and need redrilled. Not sure why it's promoted as a fit for my bike when it's not. You need a decent size drill bit. I didn't have one exactly the size needed so I had to ream it out a bit. Then the width isn't exactly right either. A little too wide. It takes a little finessing and minor bending to get it to fit properly. Took me about an hour total when it should have taken 10 minutes. That being said, now that it's on it looks good, is sturdy, and you won't find one cheaper. Conclusion: given it's cheap price and quality, it was worth the tinkering to get it to fit. I would definitely recommend this if you're okay with a little work. I took one star off for that reason.
