I was confused at first on the installation process as I had a bag full of various parts.I had no idea on how some parts would ever fit or where they would go. I contacted Customer support and learned that in my case for my bike I do not need the other spare parts. They are included in case some handlebar types need them. Other words enough parts to fit almost every handle bar.In my case I just needed the long 6 mm screw included in the package and a couple of black bushings. Installation then was very fast and easy. Just a matter of taking out the end screw which in my case was a 6 mm screw and then installing the throttle lock assembly with their 6 mm screw. Now how did it work?Well one just turns the knob counter clock wise and the knob will now come closer to the grips and squeeze them so that they cannot spring back to idle. One can tighten it to less or more. Here is what I discovered. If one tightens it while cruising it will hold firm at the speed you locked it at. Now it is not a cruise control so it will drop speed going up a hill or gain going down. However no big deal on that. Now one can still easily roll the throttle back and forth as it is never "LOCKED" just rolls a tiny bit harder. Not even enough to hardly feel the resistance. Now if one is constantly over riding it by slowing down, stopping as in a city one will find that the throttle lock is no longer working as the wheel from constant over riding loosens up enough that its hold on the grip is no longer strong enough. Now no big deal as in city traffic most of us do not want to use it anyway but for long distance highway riding for sure. However, if one tightens the wheel verily tight, then even in all riding conditions as constant over riding it will stay firm and will always be locked enough that it never springs back to idleI just keep my wheel locked on all of the time. Other words I do not tighten it while I am cruising as that is awkward. I tighten it before I leave it and leave it tight all of the time. Everything works the same as one is free to roll the throttle back and forth the same as usual and if you take your hand off the throttle it will not spring back to idle.So here is the Good and Bad about this UnitGood.........Works perfect every time and easy to install.Bad........... If you spent 140.00 to buy the brand name and found out later that you could have bought this one that works exactly the same.I installed this on a Honda Grom. Yes, I do 3 hour non stop rides with a Honda Grom. (Hey cheap on gas and I do highway speeds.)

If you intend to use it, make sure to run the nut up when you're stopped, because it does seem to wiggle outward. But it does a fine job and looks handsome.

This throttle lock holds the throttle in place long enough to let go and shake the blood back into your right hand. It does after a while slowly allow the throttle to move slowing down and eventually releasing all together on my motorcycle, that just keeps you aware during a 2 hour commute.

They don't grip as much as I would have hoped. Wasn't looking for cruise control completely just wanted something to hold the throttle for a second when making adjustments. They look good as bar ends but as a "cruise control" mmmmm not really

While these are not as good as a Kaoko, for the money they are pretty good. The lack of a plastic thrust washer and a friction setscrew are really what differentiates these from the higher priced units. They’re still pretty good for the price. The included 6mm and 8mm fasteners and the 13mm and 17mm sleeves allow them to be adapted to a variety of handlebars. On my bike, a 2001 Moto Guzzi, I simply used the original 12mm wedges from the bar and weights as shown in the photo that I posted.

No free returns you have to pay for returns and sent it back to China. Already took 2 months to get here and after the dissapointment that it does not work you have to send it back on your own dime and that too China which probably will take another 2 months if it ever reaches there. So basically you are out of money and product both
