Product Description

ZONE VALVE
honeywell zone valve

Noted

KZ series zone valves also have 220V types,so we keep 5 wires as standard configurstion. The wire with yellow-green color is designed for 220V as ground lead. You can choose cut or keep it when the actuator is 24V,which will not affect the use of the product. Our products replacement perfectly Honeywell V8043E zone valve

I had to wait until after the heating season to install this valve properly but it was a simple job and it functions very well for much less than the competition. I recommend this unit for the DIY homeowner.

This valve worked exactly has described. 3/4” sweat solder fitting was snug and took solder fine. The 4 wire head took a bit of fitness to make work with w 3 wire system but it has worked fine for the last month of the heating season. Hopefully it will continue to work for the next few years without fail.Price point is what you would expect, not a great value but defiantly not a budget buster.

I used a 3/4" Sweat 24V valve to create a radiator heater for my shop. I attached the valve to the water supply line and ran copper piping to a radiator that I had salvaged from an old building. The valve allowed me to control the flow of hot water to the radiator and regulate the temperature of my shop automatically. It was a simple and affordable solution that kept me warm during the winter months.Overall, I would highly recommend this method to anyone looking for a budget-friendly way to heat their workspace.

I got this unit to use as a valve in a complex engineered hot water storage and recirculation system. The unit is well built. The control cable has five wires: yellow/green for ground, blue and brown for 24VAC power, and grey and orange for a switch-activated pump controller. The wire ends all have brass ferrules as shown on one of the pictures. The pipe connections on each end of the valve are 3/4" sweat fittings. The internal seal is an EPDM rubber ball that is pushed against a 9mm orifice when the valve is in the normally-closed resting state. This setup is identical to all the other valves like this on the market. I cannot see this small orifice allowing high volume flow, though it should work just fine for hydronic zone controlled heating. The motor actuation is virtually silent. Opening time was about 9.5 seconds with closing time of about 3.5 seconds. The valve is held closed by two balanced springs acting to torque the actuator shaft closed. When current is applied to the 24VAC leads, the geared motor opens the arm against the spring, allowing water to flow. The valve is opened about 1/4 turn and a contactor closes a microswitch to turn a pump motor on. At this point, with current still applied, the motor stops moving and holds position. I do not know if the motor has an internal switch that shuts it off or if the motor just stops turning but still exerts torque to keep the valve open. When current is switched off, the springs slowly return the valve to the closed position, closing the rubber ball against its seat and opening the auxiliary pump control switch. The unit has a manual override switch on one end. By moving this switch to MANUAL you are opening the valve part-way, though not far enough to trigger the pump-start switch. All in all , a nice motor and well built. I am unable to tell if this motor can be used to replace the motor of a Honeywell valve control or not.

I don't know how this came about, but these are a clone of the Honeywell zone valves. So much so that the power head from the Kazeffi fits the Honeywell body perfectly and vice versa. The drive motor isn't just equivalent, its the same. The only obvious difference is the improved wiring and strain relief on these.I've got 14 Honeywell zone valves in my system. They are almost 30 years old so there are problems here and there. Mostly the motors go bad, but sometimes the power head needs rebuilding as well. Lately I've also had some of the valves themselves sticking. The Kazeffi valve is about the same price as a replacement motor for the Honeywell. I ordered this one because I've got a valve body I need to replace. Now that I know the power head is interchangeable I'll order more, no need to fuss with motor swaps, the price is about the same.

It is easy to install and easy to use. It is connected to the water pipe, and with related accessories, it can be turned on and off remotely to facilitate water replenishment in the swimming pool.
