I've been using it occasionally for 4 months. I have recently started using it regularly as my son has moved into his own room. Since the beginning I have had a few complaints, such as: the volume is very low, the button on the parent device that turns on the music is too easy to hit accidentally, the battery dies very easily and the temperature is only in Fahrenheit. It will also often miss sounds, I will hear my baby from one storey below but not a sound coming from the monitor that shows being "linked". I turn it off and back on and then I hear him crying. I am sad to say that this monitor does not produce peace of mind. All of this had me at a 2 or 3 star rating. However, I had to bring it down to 1 star as it is now preventing me from sleeping. It will randomly disconnect, in which case is starts chiming/beeping and flashing "not linked" until it links again. Sometimes I can just turn off the parent unit and turn it back on and it works, but then it disconnects again shortly after, and there goes my night. Sometimes as often as 6 times per night. Occasionally, the only way to get it to link is to go into the baby's room to unplug and replus the monitor base, but that always poses a risk of waking baby. I am so utterly disappointed as I had high hopes for this monitor.

Honestly, I love how you can hear every sound with this unit but the battery pack for it is terrible. Not sure if it the battery pack or the cord that connects to the unit but it will die after a day of charging it. Or some days it just will not turn on and flashes a red light at the top and the only way to make it turn on is to unplug the battery pack from the unit and wait 10 second then plug it back it while charging it. And this is after charging it previously. But other than that minor complaint I love it. You can hear our baby cough, sneeze, cry, and even talk to herself (which she loves to do at 5am now adays). We do not really use the other features it come with, except I have used the microphone to mess with ny husband and baby when he is changing her OR when I want to harass our bird who is sometimes in her room. He hates it (the bird). But I would definitely suggest it, it works very well except for the battery flaking out every now and then.

The sound is ok not to bad, the range on a full charge is good, but the battery life doesn't seem to last to long with out just keeping it on the charger last for about 1 ½ days with just normal use.

The basic function of this monitor worked ok. However, the battery never had much life. I had to charge it almost every night. I only used it to monitor my mother-in-law's tv at night, so I knew when she turned it off to go to sleep so I could go put night gel in her eyes. But I never got more than two evenings in a row, about 9 pm to midnight, before having to charge it. After about 3 months, I was just leaving it plugged in because it was so aggravating. After about 6 months, now, it has stopped charging at all. It doesn't do anything when plugged in, dead. Very disappointing.The other thing I didn't like about it was the next day, it would come on automatically. I always turned it off at about midnight, and the next morning, it would come on automatically. That was weird.

they sent it with a bad battery it won't charge so it has to stay plugged in attempted to contact the company with no response..

Ive owned 4 different monitors over the past 8 years and this one is by far the worst. This monitor does not stay linked for more then a few hours, then it beeps at you, theres little worse than when your child starts sleeping through the night and you still arent because your monitor is unreliable and wakes you up and then wont reconnect. If i could give this pos 0 stars i would, its really that bad. And of course this is a baby related item, so by the time i actually needed it and realized it was a terrible piece of equipment it was in excess of the return date.Its really a shame because i was excited by the options it had a the reputation of Motorola.

I bought this product because some friends of ours have this one and have had no problems. However in our case, it's completely unreliable. Audio cuts out multiple times. A few instances of connecting with full signal and no audio, even 4 feet away. Sometimes it's great, but you can't take that chance in the middle of the night. I contacted support once with no response 3 weeks ago. Just sent a second message to support. We will see if they care to respond. I think I'm moving on from this product.

Great monitor, ive had a few . and this one I love, I am able to do work outside and the monitor is still crystal clear and doesnt unlink
