Long hex bolt fits between spokes to keep wheel from spinning. Sleeve for larger axles fits over smaller rod for smaller axles. This is a very marginal produc that required mods to work at all.The biggest issues are that there are no threads on the center rod and it is too short. I had to use a pair of vice grips and a piece of wood to hold the rim on the changer. Before the next use I am going to buy a piece of long threaded rod to replace the POS that came with the changer. The thread is either 5/8 x 13, which is a bear to find, or M 16 x 2.0 (maybe).There is no rubberized protection on the upper surface. I had to zip tie a cut up hose to provide protection. Also, the upper hoop is probably 1/2in too large in diameter. A typical 17in m/c rim rides on the inner rim, not the spokes, which cause some minor scuffing.The 'valve cutout' did majorly scuff the first rim that I tried. I had to grind down the protrusions on the channel so that would not make contact with my rim.With these 'mods' the changer is somewhat useable. The seller just said this product is what they received and had no other recourse.The only saving grace was the NoScuff Tiretool that made the job much nicer than using tire irons.Have a good one.
