I often fall asleep in these and I am a side sleeper (with my ear laying on one headphone on a soft pillow.) I wear them for many hours at a time and my ears don't get tired. They are big enough to surround my ears and not too tight. I have never had this level of comfort from any headphones or earbuds. The sound is just OK but not horrible. It is lackluster. I get no buzzing and have no connection problems. The pads block external noise nicely. I've even used them to sleep when my roommates were too loud. One thing I hate is the textured metal decoration on the outside, over the ear drum. For some reason I often graze it with my finger nail and it's very very loud. Hitting it with something hurts too. You could damage your hearing by accident! I might have to put some duct tape over them but it will be very ugly. For great music these are not your headphones, but for hours of private tv watching or background music around town these will do the trick.

For what the cost is, the headphones are very good! I would have to say that they are very simple and I use them only for audio out so no mic since I'm using my own. I didn't think it would be necessary to be able to change sides for the audio jack until I recently built a new PC rig and it is on the other side of my desk now so after fighting the cable crossing over me I realized that I could just swap it over to the other ear and now all is good. I occasionally wear glasses so that's why the comfort is lacking one star is because I do get pressure headaches when I wear these with glasses for an extended amount of time. As aforementioned, for the price they are very good.

I ordered these headphones for my daughter at Christmas time. She used them with her tablet and phone daily. She was immediately thrilled with the sound quality. I kept my fingers crossed they would hold up, especially since we paid a bit more than in the past.Unfortunately, just like every other pair of headphones we've tried for her, the cords became loose and the sound would cut in and out. Eventually, they stopped working all together. It is March, and we are now shopping for another set, as this one went into the trash. We would have been better off buying 10 sets of earbuds from the dollar store.

For the price these are a really good pair of headphones. I own numerous pairs of "DJ" style headphones in the $20-$30 range that these fell in when i purchased them and these may be the best pair even without the desired "burn in" phase they still need to go through. They are lightweight, but sturdy and the sound is almost that of a "studio moniter" type headset as there is not much enhancing of the sound (like bass boost, intensified treble, etc) it sounds natural, authentic to the intended sound, but is still going to allow you to hear crisp, punchy bass, so no worries there if your listening choices require nice bass. It's comfortable, my ears fit inside, and not too much clamp. I definitely recommend to those looking for a good pair of affordable DJ style headphones.

This is a really nice set of headphone monitors. I'm a guitarist, so I don't do any music mixing or balancing, but these have been amazing for listening to music for learning new guitar parts. They have a really nice even balanced sound without adding tons of bass or mids. It's really nice to be able to hear each instrument and clearly. For learning specific music parts and for balancing levels, it gives a nice clear representation. These headphones are also pretty comfortable. I have worn these for a couple hours at a time pretty easily. The foam fits around my ear and doesn't put a ton of pressure on the side of my face. They also adjust easily and have a nice piece of padding on the head band section. These have a nice feature set. I LOVE that the wire is not permanently attached to the headphones. This means that I won't have to throw them away if the cable shorts out. They also have a headphone jack on each side. This was intended to allow for sharing music. So I can plug these headphones into my phone and plug my wife's headphones into my these headphones and we can both listen at the same time. Also, it means I can choose which side (left or right) the cord hangs from. There are 2 cables included; 1 short cable (with a microphone for making phone calls) and 1 long cable (about 8 feet long with a coiled section that can stretch & a screw threads to make sure the adapter doesn't fall off)Lastly, the construction is pretty solid. It has flex where is needs to move, but still feels sturdy. I have a pair of $250 headphones for work and the construction of the Moukey headphones feels every bit as good as those. The one thing that seems odd for these is the pivot of the drivers themselves. They pivot 90 degrees forward only. It seems like they should pivot back some, but honestly it hasn't impacted my use of them. Just seems a little odd.Overall, great headphone monitors and awesome for the price. They have definitely changed how I learn music.

Summary: You can tell these are well thought out. They’re engineered to a price but in all the right ways. They’re comfy, good looking with some thoughtful design cues to keep them understated but interesting, and they’ve got a v-shaped, detail oriented sound. All put in a well built chassis with a generous inclusion of extra pads, cable, and a 3.5mm to 1/4” adapter.Sound quality: Closed backs seem to basically come in 2 flavours; v-shape or rolled highs for their frequency response. Moukey here is using a v-shaped sound. This alone doesn’t describe the sound but gives a good idea for what to expect. The bass is a very pleasant surprise. It’s here abundantly but it’s tight and detailed. The kick drum has impact and bass guitars are clearly separated in the mix. If there’s character to the sound of whatever bass is being driven these are great at separating and communicating it.The mids sound constrained, like that section of frequencies is given less physical space to produce their sound. Considering these appear to be designed for DJ use and more electronic music that’s not very mid prominent this is to be expected. When listening to classical where there’s not much happening in the low end the mids do feel like they have more room but overall still presents the headphones as treble forward and bright.Where the treble gets boosted seems to be in the areas to let the higher details and textures of electronic music to really sizzle and push through. Listening to some dubstep I no longer feel like the mids are constrained because the music is more in line with what these are designed for. When listening to classical piano the treble side is clearly presented up front.Soundstage and separation: I’d say on both fronts these are good for closed backs. There’s not as much width to the soundstage as there is height but the excellent instrument separation really makes the best use of what’s there. The music always feels close to you but it still manages to surround you and place instruments in different spots. It kind of falls apart with solo piano where it can kind of feel more like 2 pianos playing but I doubt that will be of concern to potential buyers. So overall analytical, v-shaped, and well defined bass are good ways to describe these.Comfort: Is great. I wear glasses and do feel the clamping force a bit, however at this very moment I’m both wearing the headphones and feeling overwhelmed by my glasses but not the headphones. Removing my glasses means I can’t see what I’m typing but puts me in total comfort. This is impressive. If a set of cans isn’t really comfy I can’t wear them like this. Even my ancient and trustworthy Sennhieser HD558s can be too much at times like this. What’s even better is they include a second set of earpads. I’ve had to shove foam under my 558 pads because I don’t want to spend the cost of these headphones or more on new ones. Knowing that’s not as big a concern with these is really nice. I also suspect that because they seem to be similar to some AKG models that there’s probably plenty of aftermarket replacement pads out there.Build quality: Is a mixed bag. Clearly they made nice the bits that touch your head. The pads are soft with a fair amount of padding, the headband also has foam and the same soft material. The cable is part coiled and in a smart place and is blue which are nice touches but otherwise is nothing special material wise. There’s metal in the headband too. Otherwise all the outer materials are pretty cheap and plasticy. Which for a budget set of cans is fine. In fact those are the areas I’d save money if I were building these too.The headphones don’t feel stiff, everything flexes within expected parameters and does so without making any creaking noises. I’ve spent just as much, sometimes even more and gotten considerably less well built and designed headphones. 10 years ago if these were branded Skullcandy they’d be the highest quality product that company had ever made, and even the earlier Beats headphones (I’ve not tried a pair in probably 5 years) aren’t on this level of quality. And the thing is they don’t look bad or boring either. Yeah they’re prominently displaying the Moukey branding and I imagine some people might care about that, but overall these are good looking headphones that provide a splash of style while still being pretty understated.I love all the touches of blue, in the headband stitching, the cable (which amazingly doesn’t drag on the ground when I’m sitting thanks to the bit of coiling), and surrounding the cups. The chrome accents are nice even if they are plastic and I like how the area around the logo looks a bit like a record.

The MouKey MMh-1 Stereo Monitor Headphones are a very attractive black with details in teal blue and silver. They come with an extra set of pads and are adjustable and very comfortable. I tried them with my iPhone and found the sound is very good.In addition to the extra set of pads, the headphones come with a number of extra features. In contrast with a number of other headphones, the cords are replaceable. The headphones come with two 3.5 mm cords and an adapter for ¼ inch (instrument size suitable for monitoring speakers, amplifiers and other instruments such as electronic keyboards). It would be nice if a lightning connector had been included. One cool feature is that the headphones have two 3.5 mm sockets, one on each earphone. This allows you to switch the cord from one side to the other for comfort and, if you want to share your music, you can daisy chain the headphone to another headphone.Overall, I would recommend these headphones.
