Everyone seems to love this stroller except me. It’s actually very long compared to jovy or jeep compact. The seats are so uncomfortable, I cannot understand how any kid would like to sit in a position where you’re leaning backwards and there’s about 4inches for the bottom to sit on. It’s so painful for the babies backs. It is narrow but very long. Also the wheels are inflatable; for this price the other two compact stroller I mentioned come with all terrain wheels.

I have had a duet stroller for about 2 years. My wife wanted it because we live in the city and it is one of the only stroller to advertise that it fits through a standard door. I will say that after getting this we both realized that just about everybody else has a BOB and they get around just fine in the city so this just seems like we fell for the sucker advertising. That being said, the stroller is nice but I would not call it durable for a second. I have had to replace the locking clip 3 times (the last was a major repair as the rivet holes had gotten to big to repair. I have also replaced a wheel and had to get 2 new buckles as they broke. This is all in 2 years. I consider this all added cost to the stroller. My recommendation would be to just get a BOB - everybody I know says they love theirs. The cost is comparable and the parts are easier to get - only Mountain Buggy makes accessory pats for this stroller.

Pros:• Rides smoother than any other stroller I've ever pushed.• Width is not bad at all. Great size for a double stroller.CONS:• The directions for assembly were horrible. Vague. I ended up googling videos of how to... for the price I you pay, you would think they wouldn't skimp out on anything; especially directions.• my twins heads hit the side of the seat and there is no cushioning, just the frame sticking out. Only covered by the seat lining which isn't thick on the sides.• it does NOT fold up compact what so ever. It folds in half and is still very large in size once folded. I can't even fit it in the back of my truck.• had a few pieces come broken for wheel assembly.

this is a great stroller option for you if:- have siblings within 2 years apart- prefer to walk vs drive around town- are considering a tandem for width/accessibility- don’t mind getting an open box item to save some $$$- don’t expect to use a double stroller for more than a year or twoI got a great deal on the duet from an open box return - that said, I don’t think this stroller is worth full retail price out of the box (which is why only 4 stars). For this stroller to be “perfect” for our family I had to purchase the carrycot plus and replace with aerotech wheels, which would’ve made the entire package cost over $1k. I’ve had this stroller one week and taken my kids (newborn and 2 year old) out on walks 3x - my newborn naps great in the carrycot, the seat is a bit tight but my toddler doesn’t mind hanging his arm off the side.If you are considering a tandem get this instead. Kids are much happier sitting next to each other and a sode-by-side is more maneuverable. Many tandems have uneven seating and weight limits so the useful life would probably be similar to the duet

It's major design benefit is that it's very narrow. If you don't have 30 inch doors, this is the only full service side by side that fits. It's also easy to maneuver. That being said, the rest of the stroller is not especially easy to operate. Although it takes two car seats, taking off the fabric to install them is an ordeal. Putting the fabric back on may be even more so. My first attempt took at least 20 minutes to remove and 30 minutes to put back on. I definitely cannot imagine routinely switching it from car seat mode to fabric seat mode. If it's your only option, it'll do the job. But it's not as well designed overall as you would expect a $730 stroller to be.

LOVE THIS STROLLER! Fits through doorways easily, I can one hand maneuver this stroller easily with it loaded down. With my newborn on one side, toddler walking, and other seat loaded with stuff it doesn't even flinch or change. Basket is a tad hard to access sometimes like during naps but great for out and about. A bit heavy for a stroller but worth it to me, helped me prepare for my growing chunk of a baby. Handbrake for going down hills works perfectly, easy push through grass and on dirt, handlebar rotates low for toddler or child to push siblings. ONLY downside for me is the difficulty transitioning from a single to a double. The seats are held on by zippers and buttons basically so it takes a solid 5 minutes to undo one seat and redo the other seat to just itself then add the basket. Reclines completely flat for a newborn and napping older kiddo, belly bar is an easy on and off, toddler can easily climb into her seat while it is locked. My toddler is 35lbs and 39 inches tall, she fits extremely well next to her 16lb 5month old sister. Seems slim seatwise but the kiddo thinks its cozy and comfy. Seriously, buy it, I can hold my coffee and push this stroller easily. PLUS easy curb pop up!

I LOVE this stroller! Seriously it's the perfect compromise between an inline and side by side. My 40 inch 30 pound two year old still has room to grow! My only complaint is the canopies aren't great. If Mountain Buggy would upgrade their canopies like every other stroller company (Valco, baby jogger, uppababy, strollair etc) then this would be PERFECT. As is it is definitely 4.5 stars!

Good buggy for my disabled daughter and 9 month old son. They are both comfy at the moment and it gives good postural support.I am disappointed however that the brakes don't work as they should do, infact they don't even work!!! Very dangerous as the buggy can speed up going down banks.
