I bought the Dark Bolt color many years ago and it was my favorite color and color. My dog ripped it pretty good, so I bought I red one. I like the red but not as much as the Dark Bolt, when I saw the dark bolt on sale I had to pick it up. It is just a great jacket; nice fit, light, very breathable, good water repellency, and aesthetically pleasing.

This would go great with my backpacking collection, however the only reason I'm returning it is because of the fit. Its fit seems quite boxy/baggy, which may benefit covering larger layers beneath, but even with a down jacket mid layer, seemed to be baggy. Wish the fit was better, or I would have kept it! I wound up going with the Patagonia Torrentshell 3L.
