This item is resold across a few brands, Orvis sells this for about $100. This one was the least expensive for sure. I have the Orvis version and i found that the Orvis quick release was far superior, on this one the quick release opened with just the weight of the usual items on it, which means you could possibly lose $100 of gear in the river... I never use the quick release so I just super glued it closed and no issue. But lacks quality for that reason.

Seems good but the section for the tippits will NOT come off. I have tried everything like clamps screw drivers plyers and nothing will get the end to come off. It's been 3 days and still nothing. It would be nice to use it but I can't because they made it impossible to get it off.

This lanyard is amazing for flyfishing. Ditch your vest! Do it! DO IT NOW!Is this worth $35? probably not. Very great for light weight backpacking and organization. If you dont mind spending the money to support this smaller company, than do it. Its a great product.

I got rid of my fly vest, and now I use this. Much simpler. The little bag for the bug goo is really nice. I'm sending one to by fishing buddy (who is too cheap to buy one of his own) for Christmas. He is just going to have to suffer through this season's fishing.

Great product. It holds just about everything you could possibly need for a day on the water. This lanyard allows you to dispense with lumbar and chest packs as well as vests for most fly fishing applications.

I love the simplicity and functionality of this lanyard. My only suggestion would be for another "sock" so you could also hold either a dry shake or frogs fanny. I've used this lanyard for years and on a recent trip to New Zealand my partner often wore mine and discovered its convenience. This purchase was a Christmas gift for him.
